London millennials using more glass milk bottles to curb plastic use

Millennials in London have started using a lot more glass milk bottles in a bid to cut down plastic waste.

Milkmen and milkwomen are making a comeback in London, and dairies have told of a “phenomenal” upsurge in interest from younger customers keen on curbing their plastic use. Younger people and families also seem willing to pay a bit more for the service if it helps the environment.

UK company milk&more says it has recently gained more than 2,500 new customers across the country, and around 90% of these customers are ordering milk in the iconic glass bottles.
