After the Concorde was retired almost twenty years ago, because of both economic and environmental concerns, supersonic passenger flights ended. However, now supersonic jets are poised to make a comback in a new and cleaner form. The company Boom is aiming for an affordable supersonic passenger jet, which runs on a net zero carbon fuel. Is this going to be a profitable and environmentally-friendly solution to super-fast air travel?
